Tuskegee University gets help from Kroger in stocking campus food pantry

Tuskegee University is getting help from Kroger for its Pack the Pantry program.

Kroger is donating more than $5,000 in products for the Tuskegee University food pantry.

In celebration of Black History Month and as a testament to Kroger’s Zero Hunger/Zero Waste commitment, the grocery store chain is joining forces with Tuskegee University and other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to help silence the hunger among students who face food insecurity issues.

Kroger volunteers and Tuskegee University students and faculty stocked the campus food pantry today.

Kroger is also helping Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina, Paine College in Augusta, Georgia, and Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia.
