River Region students enjoy STEAM Fun Day at Trenholm State Community College
It was a day filled with fun science experiments and learning about technology for some River Region students and families. STEAM Fun Day hosted by Trenholm State Community College and their Upward Bound team kicked off this morning with fun games and activities.
They included the teachers versus student STEM battle, robotics creations, and science labs with different experiments. The event allows students and parents to interact with science, technology, engineering, art, and math related concepts and learn how they’re utilized in everyday life.
Organizers say it is a fantastic way to show children how exciting science can be. One of the coolest experiments involved making plastic out of vinegar and milk.
