Sims Bark to Build New Multi-Million Dollar Facility in Florala
The city of Florala welcomes a new addition to Alabama’s manufacturing workforce on the Alabama-Florida line. The multi million dollar project began talks with Florala city and covington county officials just October of last year and have already started the building process.
Sims Bark creates gardening and landscaping wood related products sold at big box store such as Home Depot and Lowe’s. Once completed the company will employ 15 new employees initially and hopes to grow that number to about 40 employees as production increases.
Once completed the Florala location will be Sims Bark’s 11th manufacturing plant in the nation and its second location in Alabama.
