A Fairly Mild Weather Pattern For Now
There seems to be a little bit of spring in the air these days. A mainly sunny sky will lead to warmer temps and we could see a few spots snagging 80 degrees Wednesday afternoon. There will be a front moving into the area late week. The frontal system will bring our next opportunity for rain to the region.
In the meantime, a mainly clear sky with temps in the lower to mid 40s overnight. Some clouds will greet us early Wednesday but abundant sunshine is on tap for most of the day. Temps will respond and climb out of the lower 40s and eventually reach the upper 70s to lower 80s during the afternoon. We head into Thursday with a frontal boundary approaching. Rain activity will be rather light and some may not see anything at all. We’re on the backside of the boundary Friday. Temps will cool slightly with lows down into the lower 40s late week.
We’re heading into the first weekend of March and this will be the beginning of meteorological spring. It runs from March through May. High pressure will build over the area and we’re looking at mainly sunny and dry conditions. Morning temps start out chilly with lower 40s but afternoon highs will hover in the lower 70s.
