Bull injures person in Eclectic

A person has been injured by a bull in Eclectic, according to the fire department.

The fire department said it was dispatched to the 2300 block of Claud Road just before noon today. It says due to the nature of the incident, a Haynes helicopter was requested to come to the scene.

The fire department said a person feeding cattle had been struck by one of the animals and thrown against a tree. Firefighters treated the person on the scene, then the victim was flown to a hospital for further care.

The person’s name and condition haven’t been released.
