Woman in Lee County dies after dog attack
A woman in Lee County has died after being injured in a dog attack.
Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton told Action 8 News that 78-year-old Patricia Burt of the Beulah community died on Tuesday, February 25, at a hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
The attack happened the day before on Lee County Road 356.
Sexton said the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the events surrounding the attack.
