Shooting in Montgomery injures juvenile male

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that injured a juvenile male

Sgt. Tina McGriff tells Action 8 News that around 3:25 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a local hospital after receiving a call that a person showed up with a gunshot wound.

Once they arrived, they made contact with the juvenile male victim with non-life threatening injuries.

It was later determined that the shooting happened near the 7500 block of Wares Ferry Road.

No word on any suspects at this time.
