Women take part in conference, small business expo in Millbrook
Dozens of women took part in the SOAR Conference and Small Business Expo at the Alabama Nature Center today.
The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event. SOAR stands for “strength, optimism, ambition and resilience.”
The expo featured a panel discussion on multi-generational women in the workplace, with Action 8 News Anchor Ellis Eskew as moderator and emcee.
The conference was about women in today’s society making new connections with women living in different areas in the River Region.
