Man shot on Troy Highway in Montgomery

Action 8 News has confirmed that a man has been shot on Troy Highway in Montgomery.

Montgomery police Sgt. Tina McGriff said the shooting happened tonight at around 7:28PM. Police and fire medics were called to the 4400 block of Troy Highway, which is not far from the Bell Road intersection.

McGriff said the man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No other information has been released.
