Montgomery firefighters battle house fire
Montgomery firefighters battled a house fire on Saturday.
Montgomery Assistant Fire Chief Stanley Cooper said the fire was reported at a home in the 2800 block of Plum Street. That location is near the intersection of Ann Street and Highland Avenue.
Cooper said smoke and flames could be seen from the one-story house when firefighters arrived.
He said no one was inside the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
