Sunday night turns cold, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Winds remain out of the northwest at 5 to 10 mph overnight, so wind chills may fall into the mid and upper 30s Monday morning. Monday trends warmer, but temperatures remain below-average for mid-March, with highs in the mid to upper 60s. The sky remains sunny throughout the day. Monday night turns cool again, with lows near 40°.

Tuesday looks mostly sunny and warmer, with highs in the upper 70s. Temperatures may approach 80° Wednesday afternoon. However, the end of the week looks cooler. A cold front sweeps through Alabama Wednesday night. A band of showers moves across Alabama along the front. Just some rain Wednesday night, little if any thunder and no severe storms this time.

Despite cooler temperatures, Thursday and Friday may fairly sunny. Another chance for rain arrives next weekend. Showers look rather spotty each day. Otherwise, clouds increase to some degree Saturday and Sunday. Rain looks a bit more likely early next week. However, the following Tuesday and Wednesday look mainly dry at this time.
