Town hall meetings planned for two remaining candidates for superintendent of Montgomery Public Schools

You are invited to take part in two town hall meetings that will feature the two remaining candidates for superintendent for Montgomery Public Schools.

The Montgomery County Board of Education has scheduled the following meetings:

Monday, March 24 – Dr. Zyickeyous Byrd, Former Superintendent of Selma City Schools, Alabama
Tuesday, March 25 – Dr. Harold Wright, Crowley Independent School District, Fort Worth, Texas

Both meetings will be held at Carver High School at 2001 West Fairview Avenue and will start at 5PM.

The position became open with Dr. Melvin Brown resigned last year.

Dr. Byrd and Dr. Wright are the two remaining candidates following the initial announcement of six finalists last month, which the school board has narrowed down over recent weeks.
