Law enforcement operations arrest four with warrants
Four people with state and federal warrants are now in custody following a law enforcement operation in Lee County.
The operation is part of a broader initiative to not only apprehend wanted criminals but to combat contraband,
particularly illegal drugs, within the state and its correctional facilities.
The Alabama Department of Corrections says arrest warrant were executed for the following:
- Darius Briscoe, state warrants for Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime and Conspiracy to Promote Prison Contraband
- Taliyah Oliver, state warrants for Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime and Conspiracy to Promote Prison Contraband
- Tylexus Shorter, state warrants for Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime and Conspiracy to Promote Prison Contraband
- Jerald Massey, state warrants for Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime and Conspiracy to Promote Prison Contraband
In addition to ADOC, the U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Attorneys Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Bullock County Sheriff’s Office, Opelika Police Department and Auburn Police Department assisted with the operation.
