Camden man killed in Wilcox County crash

A Camden man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Wilcox County.

Alabama State Troopers say 33-year-old Cody Couch was riding in a Jeep Wrangler that left the road, overturned and hit several trees. Investigators say he was not using a seat belt, was thrown from the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene.

State troopers say the driver, 26-year-old John Chandler Felts Small, Jr., of Camden was injured and taken to John Paul Jones Hospital in Camden for treatment.

Another passenger, 21-year-old Ashley Dailey of Camden, was also injured and taken to USA Hospital in Mobile.

The crash happened at about 12:30 this morning on Alabama Highway 265, about two miles south of Camden.
