Our cold snap is ending today
Montgomery dropped to 29 degrees early Friday morning, four degrees above the record low for March 21st. We don’t expect to be close to freezing again for the next week or longer. Temperatures should climb far into the 60s with sunshine today, then bottom out no colder than the upper 30s Friday night.
The weekend looks dry and noticeably warmer, as we rise to near 80 degrees again on Sunday. Rain and thundershowers could arrive after midnight Sunday night, continuing into the day Monday. Any severe weather threat appears to be very low as of now.
