ACTION 8 UPDATE: Man killed in Troy Highway wreck identified
ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police say a Pike Road man was the person killed in a three-vehicle crash on Troy Highway.
Montgomery Police Sgt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News the wreck happened at about 6:23PM last night in the 4200 block of Troy Highway, near Green Thumb Nursery.
McGriff said the driver of a pickup truck, 44-year-old Derrel Brooks, was killed in the crash.
The driver of another vehicle, a heavy-duty pickup truck, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The driver and a passenger in the third vehicle, a small SUV, were also taken to a medical facility with minor injuries.
Police are investigation what caused the crash.
