State prison guard arrested on contraband charges

A state correctional security guard has been arrested on contraband charges.

The Alabama Department of Corrections Narcotics and Law Enforcement Services Divisions arrested Sabrina Taylor on Sunday, March 23, during an investigation into the illegal introduction of contraband at Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore.

Taylor was arrested, taken to the Escambia County Jail and charged with ethics violation, prohibited activities, custodial sexual misconduct and promoting prison contraband in the 1st degree.

The ADOC investigation is ongoing and it says additional charges may be pending.
