Opelika man faces child abuse charge
An Opelika man has been arrested in Auburn on a charged of willful abuse of a child.
Auburn Police say 32-year-old Quendesmond Jamaad Kellum faces the felony charge.
Police say they got a report of child abuse on Monday, March 24, which happened near the 1500 block of North Donahue Drive.
Police say evidence confirmed Kellum as the offender which revealed his interaction with the juvenile victim to be willful abuse and maltreatment.
Kellum was taken to the Lee County Jail and held on a $10,000 bond.
