Juvenile arrested in deadly double shooting
Montgomery police have charged a juvenile in connection to a homicide in February.
The fatal shooting happened around 8:26 p.m. on Saturday, February 1 in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard.
Once officers arrived, they found two victims with gunshot wounds. One of the victims, 17-year-old Jekobi Douglas, was pronounced dead on the scene. The other victim, an adult male, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Montgomery police say a juvenile male was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Task Force on April 3.
He is charged with capital murder and attempted murder. Police have not released his name due to his age.
