An annual Easter tradition took place Saturday at the Governor’s Mansion.
Governor Kay Ivey hosted the 6th Annual Magic Moments Easter Egg Roll.
About 100 kids and their families and guardians attended the event.
Plastic eggs were scattered throughout the lawn as children searched for the big prize, which was a golden egg.
The big winner of the golden egg was Charlie Tidwell. For finding the prized egg, Tidwell took home an Easter basket filled with goodies provided by the governor.

The nonprofit provides non-medical magic moments to children ages 4 – 18 with chronic life-threatening or acute life-altering conditions, who live or receive treatment in the state of Alabama, as well as continue a relationship through their Beyond the Moment program.
