Twins arrested in Prattville shooting incident

Prattville police say twin siblings were taken into custody for a shooting that happened late last year.

According to court records, the shooting incident happened around 3:40 p.m. on December 23, 2024.

Police say the Michael and Megan Farrell, both 28 years old, are charged related to altercation turned shooting in the city limits.

During the altercation, shots were fired into an occupied home and unoccupied vehicle.

Police say after a lengthy investigation, warrants were issued for both suspects.

Michael Farrell is being held pending bond, but police say he has an active Federal Warrant for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The other sibling, Megan Farrell, is already out on bond.
