Cool Saturday night, sunny and warm Sunday, warmer Monday

We started the weekend on a pleasant note, with sunshine and not a cloud in the sky Saturday. Temperatures were cool at sunrise, in the low to mid 40s for most. However, temperatures rebounded into the upper 60s to low 70s during the afternoon. Saturday night looks cool again, with lows in the low 40s and a clear sky. Sunday looks sunny and could very well be cloudless again. Temperatures warm into the mid and upper 70s.

Next week begins mainly sunny and very warm Monday. Afternoon temperatures surge into the mid 80s. However, Tuesday looks cooler, as a mainly dry cold front swings through the state. Outside of a few brief, stray showers, it looks like the front produces no rain in our area. However, clouds likely increase a bit. High temperatures range from the upper 70s to low 80s. Tuesday night lows fall into the 40s.

Wednesday looks mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Temperatures trend warmer for the end of the week, with highs in the low 80s Thursday and Friday. Each day now looks mainly dry. Our early look at Easter weekend’s weather suggests central and south Alabama remains mainly dry with a mix of sun and clouds Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon temperatures warm into the low 80s each day.
