Prattville woman killed in Chilton County crash

A Prattville woman has been killed in a three-vehicle crash in Chilton County.

Alabama State Troopers say 20-year-old Lindsey Lugen was killed when her car hit the back of another car, driven by 40-year-old Shelby Jones of Clanton. After that impact, state troopers say Lugen’s car then collided head-on with a minivan driven by 63-year-old Anna Walker of Tuscaloosa.

Lugen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Walker was injured and flown to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for treatment. A 17-year-old, who was a passenger in the minivan, was also injured and taken to a hospital.

The wreck happened at about 8:35PM last night on U.S. Highway 82, about one mile southwest of Maplesville.
