Well Above Average Temps Over The Weekend
A warming trend is underway and it’s going to take on a summer-like feel to it as we go through the Easter weekend. High pressure is over the region and it will continue providing us some very nice and warm weather conditions. The high pressure system will circulate a southerly wind flow right off of the gulf into the area. As a result, moisture will be on the increase in the form of clouds but any rain activity will hold off until early next week.
In the meantime, we’re expecting a partly cloudy with temps falling into the mid to upper 50s overnight.  A mainly sunny sky is on tap for Saturday and we’re warming nicely into the mid to upper 80s. The rest of the weekend is going to be a warm one. A southerly wind flow will help drive temps into the mid 80s on Sunday. Moisture will increase a bit more across West Alabama and that could fuel a few showers late Sunday. Looks like the rest of us stay dry until we get into the upcoming work week.
Another frontal system will be advancing eastward and eventually arriving here Monday. This frontal system will be responsible for our next round of rain and storms. It could be a few days of it early next week.
