Man charged with capital murder in fatal Montgomery shooting

A man has been charged with capital murder in a fatal shooting that happened last month in Montgomery.

Police say 21-year-old Lamicheon Allen is charged with killing 23-year-old Shaquille Davis of Montgomery.

Davis was shot at around 7:20AM on Thursday, March 20, in the 700 block of Havelock Lane. That location is near the intersection of Wares Ferry Road and North Burbank Drive.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Allen was taken into custody yesterday by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force and was put in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.  

No other information has been released.
