Man faces contraband charges involving state prison facility in Elmore County
A person has been arrested on charges of throwing a package full of drugs over the fence of a correctional facility.
Duonta Lanier was arrested after investigators say he was caught throwing a package over the fence at the Elmore Correctional Facility Annex.
They say the package contained drugs, sprayed paper and digital scales.
Lanier is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and is being held on a $4.5 million bond.
