Action 8 honors attorney Stewart Vance on Global Pay It Forward Day
Today is known as Global Pay It Forward Day, which is why Action 8 is honoring our Pay It Forward partner, Stewart Vance of the Vance Law Firm.
Our Vice President and General Manager Jeff Inman and Sales Account Executive Jenni Johnson surprised Stewart with balloons and a cookie cake for working so hard with us on our weekly Pay It Forward segments.
For the past five years, Stewart has presented $333 to a local unsung hero whose story is profiled on Action 8 News each week. That money has really added up. Since 2020, Stewart has awarded 143 Pay It Forward honorees with a total of $47,619.
He says he appreciates the thanks, but he really wants to put the attention on all of the hard work that people do every day in the community.
“Pay It Forward has been great. We started during Covid of all times. The fact that people recognize it is a testament to not only how well you guys (at Action 8) have done, Ellis Eskew does a great job, you all do a great job. It’s turned into what we envisioned.
“I like doing it and I think people like winning it. It’s crossed the whole community. We’ve done it in really rural areas, we’ve been down in Greenville, here, up to Prattville and to the lake. We’ve been all over Central Alabama. We look forward to many more years of Pay It Forward.”
