Man shot on Commerce Street near the Riverfront in downtown Montgomery

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting on Commerce Street downtown that left a man injured.
Police say at about 8:51PM on Saturday, April 26, they were called to the 300 block of Commerce Street, which is near the Montgomery Riverfront.
Police say a man suffered what is believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No other information has been released.
