Montgomery police investigating shot fired at youth baseball game

Montgomery police are investigating a gunshot that they say was fired accidentally at a youth baseball game.

The shot happened last night at the East Montgomery Baseball Field, which is behind Goodwyn Middle School on Perry Hill Road. The field closed early last night after the shot was fired.

Police say just after 7PM, they were called to a disturbance. While investigating, police say they determined that a gun was accidentally fired during a fight between adult suspects. No one was hit.

No arrests have been made, but police say this is still an ongoing investigation.
