Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run on Eastern Boulevard in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) — A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run early Saturday morning in the 1000 block of Eastern Boulevard, near Sam’s Club, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

Police and fire medics responded to the scene shortly after 1 a.m., where they found an adult female pedestrian with life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.

The vehicle involved fled the scene before officers arrived. No other information has been released.
