Jim Massey’s Cleaners to host fundraiser benefitting Central Alabama CrimeStoppers
A well-known Montgomery-based dry cleaning business is holding a fundraiser benefiting the Central Alabama CrimeStoppers.
Starting Thursday, Jim Massey’s Cleaners is holding an unclaimed clothing sale where 100% of the proceeds will benefit CrimeStoppers.
The sale will take place at the old Family Dollar building at 1162 S. Decatur Street in Montgomery from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Shirts, pants, jeans, sweaters and skirts will be available for $5 each. Dresses will cost $10 and over 800 new prom dresses will go for $25.
Officials say every item has been professionally cleaned.
The money raised will help fund crime prevention and public safety initiatives through Central Alabama CrimeStoppers.
