Pine Hill Mission helping Plantersville tornado victims
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
A Wilcox County non-profit is working to provide the help that Plantersville tornado victims need — on the long road to recovery.
Pine Hill Mission hosted Plantersville Community Day — to reach out to tornado victims — to try and help meet their needs.
Clothes — shoes — blankets — towels — along with food and water were given away at the event.
The mission is also buying building supplies for people — to help them repair their homes.
“We’re reaching out to the ones that lost loved ones and others that are still in need,” said Executive Director Edith Ruffin.
“We’re about restoring and healing. This is the beginning.”
Ruffin is calling on area churches — to step up to the plate — and lend a helping hand.
