Millbrook celebrates opening of 7 Brew Coffee

People in Millbrook are celebrating the opening of 7 Brew Coffee.

A ribbon-cutting was held yesterday, following its opening on Monday. As part of the ceremony, the company presented a $1,000 check to Children’s of Alabama.

The location of the national coffee chain is 42 Kelley Boulevard, next to the new Publix grocery store that opened last year.

The coffee shop features hot and iced coffee, energy drinks, teas and much more.

“When a business like this that’s from not here, chooses to come to Millbrook, to make Millbrook their home, it says a lot about this city. It says a lot about the people here and the support that we give our communities,” Millbrook Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Brenda Dennis told Action 8 News.
“Honestly, I feel lucky to be in the city of Millbrook. I’ve always loved Millbrook. It’s a great town and to be here, it just seems like a good pairing, a great company and a great city,” David Morrison, the chief operating officer of 7 Brew, said.

The name 7 Brew comes from its seven original coffees when it opened its first shop in Rogers, Arkansas, in February 2017.

7 Brew now has more than 300 locations across the country. There’s a location in Auburn, and as Action 8 News has reported, a location is under construction in east Montgomery on Vaughn Road near Taylor Road.
