Andalusia woman killed, teen injured in Covington County crash

A woman from Andalusia has been killed in a wreck in Covington County that also left a teenager injured.

Alabama State Troopers say the wreck happened Friday at around 10:35AM at the intersection of Cantaline Bridge Road and U.S. Highway 84, about one mile west of Babbie.

Investigators say 59-year-old Teresa McIntosh was killed. A 13-year-old child was injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. They say the two were in a car that McIntosh was driving that was hit by a pickup truck.

State troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
