Montgomery police investigating fatal shooting near Jackson Hospital

Montgomery police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near Jackson Hospital.

Police say they were called to the 2000 block of Locust Street at about 6:45 last night. That location is near Mulberry and Cherry streets. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name and age haven’t yet been released.
