Trending Drier and Much Warmer This Week

Our mainly cloudy and wet weather pattern is slowly coming to an end.  The area of low pressure responsible for the rain activity is departing and taking the rain with it.  As a result, we’re expecting abundant sunshine along with much warmer temps this week.

In the meantime,  the low pressure system will continue to send a couple rounds of rain and t-storms through here tonight and into Tuesday.  The low will lift to the north of us and allow high pressure to build over us midweek.  We begin to dry out and heat up as the week progresses. Temps will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s Wednesday through Friday.

We will need to introduce the chance for showers and t-storms again for the the upcoming weekend.  A frontal boundary will work its way into the deep south.  There will be scattered showers and t-storms around both days.  Temps will still manage to reach the upper 80s lower 90s for highs.
