Montgomery Regional Airport executive director resigns
The executive director of the Montgomery Regional Airport has resigned.
A spokesperson for the airport confirmed to Action 8 News that the Montgomery Airport Authority Board of Directors accepted Wade Davis’s resignation. No other details were provided regarding his decision to step down.
Officials say the search for a new executive director will begin immediately. In the meantime, the airport’s leadership team will be managing day-to-day operations.
Davis was named the executive director in December 2021. Prior to that, he served nearly two years as the director of airports for the Shreveport Regional Airport and the Shreveport Downtown Airport.
