The Chance For Rain Returns For The Weekend
Summer-like heat has made its way into the deep south. We’re expecting to reach the 90 degree mark over the next several days. A partly sunny sky along with southerly breezes will help temps to make the climb. Several spots will be reaching and even surpassing the 90 degree mark at times.
In the meantime, we’re expecting low level moisture to stream into the area overnight. As a result, fog will develop and visibility will be decreasing early Friday. A little extra drive time may be ahead for some of you. The fog will lift by late morning and sunshine begins to heat of the air. Temps will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs Friday afternoon.
We will bring back the chance for showers and t-storms for the the upcoming weekend. A frontal boundary will work its way into the deep south. There will be scattered showers and t-storms around both days. Temps will still manage to reach near 90 degrees for highs.
