A Summer-Like Feel To Our Weekend
Summer-like heat has made its way into the deep south. We’re expecting 90+ degree heat over the next several days. A partly sunny sky along with southerly breezes will help temps to make the climb. Several spots will be reaching and even surpassing the 90 degree mark at times.
A frontal boundary will work its way into the deep south over the weekend. We will bring back the chance for showers and t-storms. Some storms will be capable of gusty winds and hail. . Temps will still manage to reach the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs.
Early next week is looking mainly sunny and rainfree. Temps will climb into the lower 90s for highs and lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Another frontal boundary will drop into the deep south by midweek. This frontal system will help kickoff our next round of showers and t-storms on Wednesday. We’re on the backside of the boundary starting Thursday and the airmass will trend milder. Drier air will spill into the region and that will give us some relief from the 90+ degree heat experienced early in the week.
