ACTION 8 UPDATE: One of two suspects in Troy shooting captured

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Troy police say they have captured one of two suspects in a shooting that left two people critically hurt.

Police say they have arrested 20-year-old Da’Quan Brantley. They are still seeking a 17-year-old male. Both are from Pike County.

They are wanted for attempted murder and shooting into an unoccupied building.

As Action 8 News has reported, the shooting happened at around 1:13PM Wednesday, May 7, in the 100 block of North Knox Street. Troy police say 22-year-old Dakilia Carlisle and 27-year-old Kentravious Smith, both of  Troy, were shot. They were flown to hospitals for treatment and are still recovering.
