Suspect charged in Royal Carriage Drive homicide

Montgomery police have made an arrest in a fatal shooting over the weekend.

The shooting happened around 3:00 a.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Royal Carriage Drive.

Once officers arrived, they found 26-year-old Ki’era Campbell, of Montgomery, dead from a gunshot wound.

Montgomery police say 19-year-old Lepedro Grant has been charged with two counts of capital murder.

Grant was taken into custody Tuesday and is currently in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
