River Region celebrates new downtown Montgomery office location

The River Region United Way has hosted a ribbon cutting for its new location in downtown Montgomery.

Its new office is located at 624 South Perry Street, just off of Interstate 85. The ribbon was cut yesterday.

River Region United Way CEO Jannah Bailey says the move isn’t just about a new address. She says it marks the start of a new chapter focused on accessibility, innovation and stronger collaboration within the community.

“When you support United Way, you are supporting 32 agencies that are on the front lines every day. You are also supporting this city and those that are in need the most. Our building has become an anchor for a central point of nonprofits. I’d like to always say United Way, I’ve always thought of it as being the mothership of nonprofits, and I feel like the ship has landed on South Perry Street.”
