Rain & Storm Threat Throughout The Holiday Weekend
A rather active weather pattern will be establishing itself over the deep south this weekend. Showers and t-storms will be possible each day. All indications are this pattern will continue well into next week as well.
Memorial Day weekend will have the chance for showers and t-storms each day. Some storms could be strong to possibly severe. The main threats will be damaging wind gust, hail, and very heavy downpours. The storm development will favor the late afternoon and early evening hours. Temps will manage the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs throughout the weekend.
We should see an increase in rain/storm coverage on Monday. Temps will climb into the upper 80s for highs and lows in the lower to mid 60s. The outlook for Tuesday through Thursday is setting up to be wet. Rain and t-storms are likely with temps managing the mid to upper 80s for highs.
