Two charged after two pedestrians hit, one killed, in Montgomery
The drivers of two cars are facing charges after two pedestrians were hit, with one killed, in Montgomery.
Montgomery police say on Saturday, May 24, at about 8:42PM, they were called to the 900 block of East South Boulevard’s service road, between Norman Bridge Road and Narrow Lane Road.
They found a pedestrian, 18-year-old Juan Demetri Jimenez of Montgomery, who had been struck and killed. Police say a second person suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Police have charged two drivers with felony leaving the scene of an accident. They have been identified as 28-year-old Keona Jarrett of Montgomery and 34-year-old Deondra Williams of Montgomery. They are both being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
