One More Round Of Rain And Storms Ahead
Our weather pattern will remain active through Friday afternoon. A frontal boundary will push into the state and trigger showers and t-storms. Some storms could be strong to possibly severe. The main threats will be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, quarter size hail, along with heavy downpours and frequent lightning strikes. We expect this to be the last in a series of rain/storms to move through our area.
Finally, we see an end to this wet and stormy weather pattern. The cold front that sweeps through the area will make way for a fresh batch of dry air to settle over us.  This will set the stage for some really nice weather conditions over the upcoming weekend.  High pressure will build over the region and we’re expecting abundant sunshine areawide. Temps will manage the mid to upper 80s for highs while overnight temps fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s.
