Life Changing Community Outreach to host Largest Greenville Juneteenth Celebration

Greenville is gearing up for its largest Juneteenth celebration to date.

Juneteenth celebrates the freedom of slaves, the endurance of black Americans and a community built on sacrifice.

What began as a Texas tradition has grown to celebrations across the country remembering that great day in 1865 where all black Americans could finally call themselves free.

Greenville, now hoping that this year’s Juneteenth event rivals that of others and sets Greenville a part as a front runner in Juneteenth celebrations with family, food trucks and even a rap artist who happens to be a Greenville native.

this year’s Juneteenth celebration is set to remember the past and focus on the importance of giving back to the community with proceeds going to a Christmas in July fund raiser hosted by Life Changing Community Outreach

Greenville’s Juneteenth celebration is June 14th from 11 to 6 at the Greenville Fair Grounds. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children proceeds to support Christmast in July. Lawn chairs, tents and personal food and drinks are welcome.
