Rain Chances Picking Up Over The Weekend
Our weather pattern will continue to be rather active with periods of rain and t-storms. This means more rounds of heavy downpours, frequent lighting strikes and gusty winds. It’s a familiar weather pattern and it’s sticking around through the weekend into early next week.
In the meantime, a few spots could see a passing shower or t-storm this evening but most will remain warm and humid. It looks quiet overnight with a mostly cloudy sky and temps hovering in the lower 70s for lows. We should mention the possibility of patchy fog developing in spots. That could have an impact on your morning commute Thursday.
The latter half of the week and the upcoming weekend will be trending active again. High pressure will provide a southerly to southwesterly wind flow across the state. This will provide the fuel for periods of showers and t-storms. Temperatures will manage the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs and overnight lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
