Fire damages home in Montgomery
Montgomery firefighters battled a fire at a single-story home.
The fire happened at a home in the 100 block of Beckview Drive just after 2 o’clock this morning. That location is not far from South Court Street, just south of the bypass.
Assistant Fire Chief Stanley Cooper said fire crews saw smoke and flames when they arrived. The people inside the home got out safely.
An investigation will determine how the fire started.
