ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police name woman shot and killed on East South Boulevard

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police have released the name of the woman shot and killed on East South Boulevard.
Police have identified the victim as 28-year-old Carmilla Taylor of Montgomery. They have launched a homicide investigation into her death.
As Action 8 News has reported, yesterday at about 2AM, police and fire medics were called to the 2800 block of East South Boulevard, which is near the Governors Square shopping center, not far from the old Montgomery Mall.
That’s where they found Taylor and another woman, who had also been shot. They were both taken to a hospital, where Taylor was pronounced dead.
