Scattered storms Wednesday, Thursday; Less rain this weekend
Early Wednesday morning was dry with sunshine, but storms became scattered about during the late morning. Showers and storms remain scattered Wednesday afternoon, but coverage becomes more isolated during the evening. Meanwhile, temperatures may still warm into the upper 80s to low 90s in rain-free locations. Wednesday night becomes rain-free with a partially clearing sky, and low temperatures in the low 70s.
Thursday features another good chance for rain. We may see a complex of storms roll north to south through Alabama during the morning into the afternoon. It looks like storms may affect our area mainly during the late morning through mid-afternoon. Again, high temperatures likely warm into the upper 80s to low 90s before cooling rain arrives.
Rain chances finally decrease a bit Friday and this weekend. Only isolated showers and storms form each afternoon and evening. Less rain means hotter temperatures. Highs range from the low to mid 90s each day. Rain coverage remain isolated for the first half of next week, but showers and storms may become a bit more widely scattered again Thursday and Friday.
